I was looking at all the left-over candy that I have from Halloween– Somehow, we still have some. This year we didn’t get many kids coming around – maybe we had around 20 kids – in fact, the first kid came at 6:30 PM. So I’m looking for recipes that I can use this candy in.

I have a mountain of Fun-sized Butterfingers just sitting there, no being eaten. Then I came across a recipe for Chewy Butterfinger Cookies, it looks so easy and takes only 8 fun-sized butterfinger candy bars. PERFECT! Sounds great!! Let’s get started!!

Here’s what you need:

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1 large egg, at room temperature
8 fun sized butterfinger candy bars, chopped

Well, I made the batter and chopped up the butterfinger candy bars…mix it all together…and in 8 to 10 minutes I will have cookies that will be soooooo goooood! If anything, this should make a nice dent in my candy supply.

I would like to thank Sally’s Baking Addition for these delightful cookies. Thank you Sally, these cookies taste great!!!! If you’re a Butterfinger fan, (and who isn’t?), then you need to make this recipe as soon as possible! Be careful tho, these will go FAST! If you would like to try these for yourself, then be sure to head on over to Sally’s Baking Addiction now for the full instructions. Enjoy!
