Pecan pie is a favorite for many, (including myself) and after a long search for a great dessert I found this recipe for delicious chunky Pecan Pie Bars. Is there anything better than a handheld pecan pie? Just the thought of it is enough to make my mouth water!

These bars look amazing and taste even better!  It’s a very easy recipe to follow and if you have ever made a pecan pie, you’ll have no problem with these bars. In fact, you don’t even need to follow the recipe if you don’t want, for instance, if you had a family recipe you would like to convert and shrink down instead.

My daughter and I gave them a try a few weeks ago and we both found them to be very addicting.  It was very hard to stop eating them, so be sure to make plenty. You might want to consider doubling or even tripling this recipe. Give them a try and let me know how you, your friends and family feel about them.

Here’s what you need:
