I found another recipe that uses pecans, so I was so excited! If you are confused by what I mean by that, to sum up, I have more pecans in my home than anyone else should ever have in one place at any time. So anything I can use to lighten my load, I flock to it!

This recipe is for a Caramel Fudge Cheesecake that uses brownies as a layer (yes, BROWNIES!) and is gooey and chocolatey and will make everyone who tries it very happy. I made this cheesecake just yesterday for my family and it is almost gone AFTER ONE SITTING!

It says to use a brownie mix, but I have a great homemade brownie that I used instead. You can do the same if you like, its all up to you! You’ll need caramels, evaporated milk, pecans, cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and chocolate and is a simple recipe that turns into a cheesecake that will delight your family and friends. Give it a try.

Here’s what you need:

1 package fudge brownie mix (8-inch square pan size)
1 package (14 ounces) caramels
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1-1/4 cups coarsely chopped pecans
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
