My daughter knows that one of my favorite chocolate bars are butterfingers, so when she found this dessert she knew I would love it.  This recipe is for Butterfinger Cheesecake Cups and OMG I am hooked!

They are now my very favorite got-to-have-’em dessert and if you like butterfingers like I do, you may get hooked yourself.  I mean look at the picture, and try to tell me these don’t look awesome! They are simply mouth watering!

You have layers that each are incredibly addicting.  There’s the chocolate cookie crumb bottom, then the cheesecake layer with melted white chocolate chips melted in along with crushed butterfingers, the wonderful mousse with the melted peanut butter chips, and then of course your topping of more shredded butterfingers on top.  You will have a hard time stopping yourself from eating them all, I guarantee it!

Here’s what you need:

1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
2 Tbsps. sugar, and 1/2 cup sugar
6 Tbsps. butter, melted
3 8-oz. packs cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
2 Tbsps. sour cream
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
2 tsps. shortening
1 3/4 cup crushed Butterfinger candies
8 oz. whipped topping
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
