Pumpkin, banana, and spice are three ingredients that make me smile, so when I saw a recipe for Pumpkin Banana Spice Muffins with Creamy Glaze, I just had to give it a try! And boy am I glad I did! You might wanna take some notes…

Making anything with pumpkin or spice, to me, is just what you do in the fall season. Hands down, the smell of pumpkin spice that fills my home after making various cookies, breads or cakes is literally my favorite thing about the Fall season. There’s just nothing better NOTHING!

I’ve made these muffins a few times now and have done them full size and then made them in the mini muffin pan and I have to say I like them best as mini muffins. This way I can easily pop them in my mouth. I leave that choice up to you, just make sure you have enough to go around, that way no one misses out!  They are very addicting and smell just amazing while they are baking. You need these in your life NOW!

Here’s what you need:

Muffins:
1 cup pumpkin (I used canned), divided
1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of flour (you can use 1/2 cup whole wheat and 1 cup all purpose for extra nutrition)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
3 ripe bananas
3/4 cup of sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Glaze:
remaining cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup of confectioner’s sugar
2 or 3 teaspoons cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
