If you are like me, you cook chicken for dinner a few times a week and coming up with different chicken ideas can take a bit of searching.  Chicken recipes are what I search for the most, I think, out of everything I look for, so I hope this will help you like it did me.

This recipe is for barbecue chicken and a citrus slaw to go on the side.  The ingredients are very basic and the recipe is very simple to follow.  I use my favorite barbecue sauce and so can you.  Having barbecue aromas fill the kitchen and then the mouth watering orange scent spread through the air makes for a wonderful evening.  Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think.

Here’s what you need:

1 large navel orange
4 medium boneless, skinless chicken-breast halves
Olive oil cooking spray
¾ c. bottled barbecue sauce
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
8 oz. shredded cabbage mix for coleslaw
¾ bulb fennel
1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
salt and pepper
