Well, Christmas may be over and the new year is upon us, but I’m sure that (if you’re like me) you have plenty of leftover candy canes lying around and you don’t know what to do with them. You COULD save them for next year I guess… but you’re better off just eating them. So why not have some fun and do something a little more interesting with them.

It’s the perfect time to make Candy Cane Bark! all you need is a milk chocolate bar, vanilla flavor candy coating and white chocolate baking squares.  You can get the vanilla flavor candy coating at any craft store.  Follow directions…then add your crushed candy canes on top of chocolate mixture…then chill. It’s super simple!

Here’s what you need:

6 ounces chopped chocolate-flavor candy coating
3 ounces chopped milk chocolate bar
6 ounces chopped vanilla-flavor candy coating
3 ounces chopped white chocolate baking squares
1/4 cup crushed pepperment candy canes
