This recipe for Grilled Italian Pork Chops is pretty easy to make on your grill, as the name would suggest, however if it’s a rainy day, the oven will do quite nicely as well. When you’re at the market getting the chops don’t forget to pick up the ham…large tomato…mozzarella slices…because that’s what is going to make your meal Italian.

Here is everything you need while I’m at it:

4 (3/4 inch thick) pork chops
salt and ground black pepper to taste
4 slices ham
4 slices tomato
4 slices mozzarella cheese
chopped fresh oregano to taste
paprika to taste

After the chops are cooked you then place the ham, tomato and mozzarella; then on top of the cheese you sprinkle the spices. Wait until the cheese is melted…set the table…then serve.

I’d also like to add, now that I have actually made this dish, that I would suggest breadcrumbs for your pork chops. The texture and added taste really make this dish stand out! Even if you don’t, it’s still quite good and well worth the effort!
