Well, it’s a HOT summer so far!! You would like to make a pie for dessert, but just the thought of putting the OVEN on to make your pie…OH, NO YOU CAN’T DO THAT…IT’S 92 DEGREES OUTSIDE! There has to be another way!
So you look for another way…then you look thru your cookbooks…with no luck!! Then you decide to look online, and you find this recipe…No-Bake Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Pie. It’s made with a chocolate pie crust, cool whip and chocolate bar with almonds…sounds DELICIOUS and easy!!!
Here’s what you need:
1 (9-inch) chocolate crumb pie crust (such as Oreo pie crust)
1 1/2 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip whipped topping (12 oz. total)*
5 full-size (1.45 oz.) Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars with Almonds**
* The original recipe calls for 1 (8 oz.) container of Cool Whip, however I use 1 1/2 containers as I prefer a ‘fuller’ pie. If you’d like to use just 1 container of Cool Whip, use just 4 Hershey’s bars. Your pie will taste great, it just won’t be as full in the pie crust.
** Regular Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars (without almonds) can be substituted.
It was an easy pie to make and boy was it good!! I would like to thank Tracy from The Kitchen Is My Playground, this is one delicious pie, alright, there’s no denying it! Remember to head over to The Kitchen is my Playground by clicking here now for the full instructions. Enjoy!
