I really like to make cut-out cookies. There’s something almost therapeutic about it. But there’s usually a catch– every batch of cookies has to go in the fridge for about 2 hours or overnight, which limits production if you need to make a bunch like I usually do.If you’re like me, I choose overnight because it’s less to worry about. Like the old saying goes, “a watched pot never boils.”

But these cookies, German Cut-Out Cookies, don’t have to go in the fridge at all!…just make the batter; roll and cut into shapes; cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes; cool completely then decorate with your favorite frosting. Sounds great to me!!!
