Better-than-almost-anything cake stands up to it’s name.  Chocolate cake is a favorite in my house, but sometimes you have to try different desserts or at least change it up a bit.  Chocolate cake with caramel, whipped topping and toffee was something I had to try and I’m so glad I did.  I suggest you go ahead and buy the Betty Crocker Super Moist German cake only because it’s a great mix, but I’m sure any mix would work, even a homemade one.  My family went wild for this recipe and I had to promise to make it again.  Go ahead and give it a try and let me know what everyone thought.  Is it better than almost anything?

Here’s what you need:

1 box Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ German chocolate cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 jar (16 to 17 oz) caramel, butterscotch or fudge topping
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 bag (8 oz) toffee chips or bits

Thanks to Betty Crocker for coming up with the new house favorite! I’ll be making this cake again, you can be sure of that! Be sure to go over to Betty Crocker now to get the full instructions. enjoy!
