This recipe for Cajun-Spiced Oven Fries is from the Sugar Solution Cookbook, too. When I make it I usually cut the potatoes into more slices (not wedges, so there are more to go around). I use all the same ingredients except I put more cayenne pepper—LOVE that spice! These potatoes go well with a burger, but, really, they go great with anything. If you love fries, you owe it to yourself to try these! It’s hard to believe that something like fries can have some sort of nutritional attributes, but these are proof that, I guess anything is possible! I would like to thank the Sugar Solution Cookbook for this awesome recipe.

Here is what you’ll need to make Cajun-Spiced Oven Fries:

4 russet potatoes (about 2 lbs), cut lengthwise into 12 wedges each
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon sweet parika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
