Is there anything better than scraping up the bowl after making a fresh batch of cookies? There’s just something about cookie dough that makes me feel like a kid again– it also happens to be one of my favorite ice cream flavors too. This recipe, however, is for a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake that is so much fun to make and absolutely delicious when done!

First of all, the ingredients and technique are so simple it’s one of those desserts that, if you have children, it would be fun to put together with them.  The crust and the crumble for the top is made with ACTUAL refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, which is wonderful. Seriously, I’m a big fan of the fact that the dough is real and it’s not just flavored, ya know what I mean?

Then you have cream cheese, sugar, whipping cream, and sour cream, that’s it. It makes a cheesecake that will be eaten up very quickly! It’s a great, special treat after a nice family dinner and if you make it with the kids, it will be that much more delicious.

Here’s what you need:

1 package Pillsbury™ Ready To Bake!™ refrigerated chocolate chip cookies with Hershey’s® chocolate chips
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup whipping cream
