This is a recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Banana Lumpias and they are just absolutely wonderful! This dessert is different, but will end up being a favorite to your whole family. For those who don’t know that a Lumpia is, here’s a short description from Imperial Sugar:

Banana lumpia (turòn) is a traditional Filipino snack made of bananas in a spring roll wrapper and deep fried. With a little bit of cinnamon sugar, you can bake these to crisp perfection, enveloping a piping hot, caramelized banana.

I don’t know about you, but that description has my mouth watering already! They will be done in no time at all, only taking around 15 minutes to pepare and 20 to cook. You only need a few ingredients too, so it won’t cost you much.  If you can’t find any Lumpia wrappers you can substitute any spring or egg roll wrappers, or you can make your own lumpia wrappers.  There really is nothing to them.  You can find recipes on line, but it’s a very basic flour and egg mix made in oil.  Give these a try.  You will love the smells that engulf your kitchen and the tastes will delight you!

3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
