A fun childhood memory, I’m sure for many of us, is grilling outside and roasting marshmallows over the open fire.  The only thing that made that better was seeing mom had packed graham crackers and chocolate bars so that everyone could make delicious s’mores!

Nowadays I don’t get out enough to enjoy grilling very often, but I did find this recipe for  s’mores that you can easily put together in a pan in your oven in only 10 minutes.   You add butter and sugar to turn the graham crackers into a yummy crust but then it’s just chocolate and marshmallows melted in the middle.  These bars can be messy but it’s nice and simple, and the taste will take you back to those fun nights around the fire.

Here’s what you need:

1 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup white sugar
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups miniature marshmallows

Thanks to allrecipes.com for this recipe. Trust me, these may be messy, but that’s part of the fun the I see it. Also, it’s a small price to pay to feel like a kid again. I wouldn’t trade that for anything! Be sure to head on over to All Recipes now for the full instructions. Enjoy!
