Food doesn’t always have to be new and unique or “the next big thing” to be considered good. At the same time, just because a recipe might be more “plain” than others, it doesn’t mean I don’t want to/shouldn’t share it with all of you. Just the other day, I had an incredible craving for some good old  Mac & Cheese, but all I had in the house was Easy Mac and Velveeta. That’s fine I guess, I mean beggars can’t be choosers, but I’d be lying if I said I was content. So the search was on for a good Mac & Cheese recipe online! Nothing fancy, just the simple, classic standby. And this is what I found! Coming from food.com, this recipe is just perfect! Nothing crazy, no super secret ingredients, no added bell and whistles… just a delicious recipe that reminds me of home. Sometimes, that’s all you need…give this classic recipe a try!

Here is what you’ll need to make Easy Stove-Top Mac & Cheese:

8 ounces elbow macaroni
1⁄4 cup butter
1⁄4 cup flour
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
