How many of you must have garlic knots when you order your pizza to-go? I think there are a lot of people, including myself, who ALWAYS INCLUDE GARLIC KNOTS with your order.

I’ve been going to the same pizza place for 38 years, and for most of that time there has only been 1 other owner.   It’s nice going there because everyone knows each other, and of course because the food, and the GARLIC KNOTS, were fantastic!

Unfortunately that changed about 2 years, when a new owner stepped in.  For the most part, everything was fine except that the prices have gone up steadily over that time, and for some reason, the one thing that the previous owner must have not turned over was his secret for making those wonderful garlic knots.  The knots just aren’t the same any more.

There wasn’t much I can do about that…until now!  I found this wonderful recipe for the “Perfect Garlic Knots” from the good folks over at CookiesAndCups.com.  I tried out the recipe, and they were AWESOME!

Here’s what you’ll need to make Perfect Garlic Knots:

6 tablespoons salted butter
8 garlic cloves, minced (approximately 1½ tablespoons)
¾ cup warm water
1½ teaspoons rapid rise yeast
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups all purpose flour
optional- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

I’m telling you, you’ve got to give these knots a try.  To see the full instructions for putting them all together, click here to head on over to Cookies and Cups.  Mangia, and enjoy!!!
