If you are a chocolate lover, I’m sure you’ve had your share of brownies.  You may even have a favorite recipe that you make when ever you have a chocolate craving.  A friend of mine found this recipe that claims to be the only chocolate brownie recipe you will ever need, so of course I had to give it a try!

For one thing it is a very easy recipe to follow and what makes this brownie recipe special is that you don’t use any cocoa, but instead you use real chocolate, which smells wonderful.  Be careful when you are baking it also, because you need to take the brownies out at a specific time in order for them to be the tastiest.  I would not be surprised if you made this brownie recipe your new favorite, I did.

Here’s what you need:

30 g butter
250 g dark chocolate (I only use Cadbury Bourneville)
80g butter, extra
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup roasted walnuts (optional)
ICING:
60g butter
125g dark chocolate
