I’ve found a great recipe for a Lemon Loaf Cake. it’s a super moist and super delicious cake. This cake, once it’s baked, gets drenched with lemon syrup, then a lemon glaze…get ready to pucker up because that’s just what you’re gonna do when you take your first bite. OMG, I’ve reached heaven…because this cake is that good! Thanks to Maria and Josh from Two Peas and Their Pod for making this delicious, moist, unbelievable cake.

Here is what you’ll need to make Lemon Loaf Cake:

1 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 C. plain whole-milk yogurt (I used sour cream)
1 1/3 C. sugar, divided
3 extra-large eggs
2 tsp. grated lemon zest (2 lemons)
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 C. vegetable oil ( I used canola oil)
1/3 C. freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 C. confectioners’ sugar
2 Tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice
