There are so many different recipes for chicken wings, but which do I choose? It’s a good problem to have, don’t get me wrong. Let’s see, we can have Garlic-Ginger Chicken Wings…Chinese Chicken Wings…but I thought that I would like to try Teriyaki Chicken Wings. I love teriyaki chicken on its own, so this should be right up my alley!

Here’s what you need:

1 cup water
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
3 pounds chicken wings or drumettes

You have to whisk together water, soy sauce, sugar, pineapple juice, vegetable oil garlic and ginger…add the wings…coat…cover…refrigerate.  It’s really easy!

Once the chicken has been marinating, then it gets cooked for an hour. This recipe is easy like I said, but it to make it better…after they are done baking…(this is what I do) you can put them on BROIL for 8-10 minutes per side just to crisp them up a little, just watch them to make sure they don’t burn.
