WOW, this “Bacon Chocolate Chip Biscotti” recipe takes the classic Italian cookie to whole other level! It has BACON in it! Did I say “BACON”!! This recipe from “Serious Eats” gets a gold star from me. The only thing I would change would be the amount of bacon that goes into the biscotti…I would put about 8 strips of bacon. Because you can NEVER have enough of bacon, right!!! I would like to thank “Serious Eats” for doing such a good job with the bacon and chocolate, it makes me want to bake them right away!

5 strips bacon
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
