I’ve found a great recipe for a Lemon Loaf Cake. it’s a super moist and super delicious cake. This cake, once it’s baked, gets drenched with lemon syrup, then a lemon glaze…get ready to pucker up because that’s just what you’re gonna do when you take your first bite. Here is what you’ll need to make Lemon Loaf Cake:

1 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 C. plain whole-milk yogurt (I used sour cream)
1 1/3 C. sugar, divided
3 extra-large eggs
2 tsp. grated lemon zest (2 lemons)
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 C. vegetable oil ( I used canola oil)
1/3 C. freshly squeezed lemon juice

Glaze:
1 C. confectioners’ sugar
2 Tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice
